We are working with a growing employee-owned engineering firm that is looking to expand their bridge engineering team in Allentown, Pennsylvania, by adding a Bridge Section Head, a Bridge Project Manager, and a Bridge Project Engineer. This team will design and build highway and railway bridges throughout the state of Pennsylvania.

Bridge Section Head

Your Role:

You will lead and manage the team of structural bridge engineers responsible for the planning, design, and delivery of structural projects. This role provides technical leadership, oversees project execution, and ensures that work is delivered on schedule, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. You are responsible for staff development, resource planning, and maintaining strong collaboration with internal teams, clients, and stakeholders.

In addition to managing the section’s workload and performance, the position plays a key role in business development, client relationships, and maintaining technical excellence across all structural bridge engineering.

  • Coordinate strategic growth plan with office managers and practice leaders
  • Establish and grow market presence in area through marketing and business development
  • Manage financial budget for department and allocate resources accordingly
  • Lead and contribute to the production of proposals
  • Serve as a technical expertise resource to project managers and technical staff
  • Establish resources staffing needs for the section
  • Interview and hire staff for the section
  • Perform performance reviews for staff based on input from project managers on assigned teams
  • Lead and manage team members by providing leadership and continuous performance management (setting expectations, goals, feedback, 1:1 meeting, coaching) that supports the growth and development of team.

Required Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in Civil Engineering, or a related field
  • Professional Engineer License
  • 10+ years’ experience in specialized discipline

Bridge Project Manager

Your Role:

You will lead and mentor a team of engineers to successfully deliver impactful projects from concept through completion. In this role, you will drive project success by guiding planning efforts, defining scope, managing schedules and budgets, and coordinating multidisciplinary teams.

You’ll serve as a key communicator with stakeholders, proactively manage risks and resources, ensure high standards of quality, and keep projects on track through clear reporting and leadership.

  • Manage projects in accordance with scope, schedule, and budget.
  • Collaborate with disciplines and subconsultants to develop a risk adverse project scope and fee.
  • Develop project specific project plans, Project Management Plans/quality management plan.
  • Create and maintain project schedules.
  • Manage subconsultants.
  • Monitor and execute project progress, including identifying and mitigate risks, developing extra work order requests and open-end contract task proposals.
  • Communicate project status, updates, and issues to internal and external stakeholders.
  • Participate in office’s project financial status meetings.

  • Develop and lead in project status and presentations
  • Assist Section Heads, Office Leaders, and Practice Leaders with the marketing process including, SMART Go/No Go decisions, proposal development, and interviews.
  • Coordinate and guide all technical resources within the project team to ensure delivery of a high-quality outcome.
  • Providing coaching and mentorship to the project team through one-on-one check-in meetings and various project debriefs to acknowledge achievements, identify areas for improvement, and share lessons learned.

Bridge Project Engineer

Your Role:

You will be responsible for engineering design using knowledge of general engineering principles and practices to interpret, organize, execute and coordinate assignments with limited supervision.

You will also act as a technical advisor to less experienced engineers.

  • Plan, schedule, conduct or coordinate detailed phases of the engineering work in a part of a major project or in a total project of moderate scope
  • Analyze survey reports, maps, drawings, blueprints, aerial photography and other topographical or geologic data to plan projects
  • Perform design computations
  • Design projects in accordance with client specifications and guidelines, using design software and drawing tools
  • Develop construction cost estimates
  • Assist in the preparation of engineering documents for advertisement and construction
  • Prepare and compile contract plans, specifications and estimates
  • Manage project sub-consultants and in-house support disciplines
  • Develop extra work order requests and open-end contract task proposals
  • Prepare proposals as required
  • Attend meetings with clients
  • Coordinate with internal team members to ensure project completion by the defined deadline and established quality

We are working with a leading Logistics and Supply Chain firm in Alpharetta, Georgia, who is seeking an experienced Logistics Project Manager to lead multiple projects to improve and expand their company. This is a 22 month contract assignment, and you must be willing and available to travel by plane or car to meet with clients and other project members. You must also be able to work full time (~40 hours/week with potential overtime), and be flexible to work occasional weekends, holidays, and overnight stays as needed.

Note, this is Business/Functional Project Manager role; Technical or IT Project managers will not be considered.

Your Role:

You will be leading multiple Logistics and Supply Chain projects, to expand and enhance the company’s functions and outreach.

  • Manage project scope, schedule, initiation, start-up/design, building & deployment of projects from beginning to end.
  • Create and manage PM artifacts while educating the team on their creation/proper use throughout the project, such as: Project Charter, Project Plan, RACI, Risk/Issue identification and mitigation, status reports.
  • Develop and update appropriate PM artifacts, as needed.

We are working with a growing employee-owned engineering firm who is looking to add an experienced Bridge Construction Project Manager to their team in Virginia, either in Richmond, or in Herndon. You will work on a wide range of projects, from smaller $5M–$10M efforts to large, complex, regionally significant projects and design-build pursuits.

Your Role:
