Your Role:

Serve as project manager on a variety of mechanically driven facilities projects of varying sizes and types
Monitors schedules, budgets, accounts receivable and manpower requirements and prepares invoices
Develop Project Management plans for assigned projects
Establish project pricing and budgets
Create and maintain project schedules
Develop and maintain project specific quality plans
Develop and coordinate project scope
Participate in client presentations, coordination, and marketing efforts
Oversee and manage assigned staff working on project, including internal mechanical team members, internal multi-discipline teams, and external subconsultants
Development of extra work order requests and open-end contract task proposals
Coordinate and assist Section Heads, Office Managers, and Practice Leaders with marketing proposals
Lead and manage team members by providing leadership and continuous performance management (setting expectations, goals, feedback, 1:1 meeting, coaching) that supports the growth and development of team
Provide proactive problem solving, self initiative/motivating, ownership of responsibility, individual as first line of success/quality.

Must successfully complete and pass the company’s Motor Vehicle screening

Preferred Experience:

CxA, BCxP, or other commissioning certification a plus
CAPM or PMP a plus
Experience working with local clients at the local, state, and/or federal level
Project management and business development experience
Experience with multiple project delivery methods i.e. Design-Bid-Build, Design-Build, P3
Experience managing multidiscipline project teams
Experience designing and specifying industrial mechanical/plumbing systems and/or fire protection a plus

We are seeking an experienced DeltaV Controls Engineer to join a growing team in Kalamazoo, Michigan. Your Role:

Develop, configure, and implement Emerson DeltaV control systems, ensuring alignment with customer specifications, company standards, and industry best practices
Design and program DeltaV batch processes per ISA-88 standards
Collaborate with clients in the life sciences industry to gather requirements and develop customized automation solutions
Engineer system architecture, instrument specifications, and control strategies to optimize manufacturing efficiency
Configure DeltaV controllers, applications, HMI, and historian solutions while ensuring compliance with GAMP 5, cGMP, and 21 CFR Part 11 regulations
Conduct Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT) and Site Acceptance Testing (SAT) to validate system performance
Provide on-site startup, commissioning, and troubleshooting support activities for deployed systems into production environments
Ensure compliance with system and software development life cycle methodologies, including validation documentation
Work closely with multidisciplinary teams, including electrical engineers, process engineers, validation engineers, and project managers, to deliver projects on time and within budget
Mentor junior engineers and technicians, fostering knowledge-sharing and technical growth

Required Skills:

Proficiency in ISA-88 Batch Processing and DeltaV Batch configuration
Familiarity with Historian, Alarm Management, and Advanced Control Strategies
Experience with automation protocols (HART, Foundation Fieldbus, Profibus, Modbus TCP/IP, Ethernet/IP, OPC)
Expertise in process control strategies, loop tuning, and system integration
Understanding of industrial networking for communication between controllers, servers, and HMIs

We are seeking a Senior PLC Controls Engineer to join the team at a growing engineering consulting firm in Albuquerque, New Mexico, to provide team leadership in delivering automation systems for a wide variety of industries, implementing automation solutions with multiple control systems including PLC, DCS, HMI, and SCADA platforms, with emphasis on Rockwell and Cimplicity.

Your Role:

In this role you will interact directly with the customer and lead a team of engineers in identifying requirements, developing specifications, and implementing/testing/commissioning/qualifying automation solutions. This position is a leadership role within the business unit and requires strong problem-solving ability, well-balanced people skills, an aptitude for business efficiency, and an interest in creating partnerships.

This position requires the ability to deliver innovative automation solutions and design standards either self-directedly or as a leader of a team.
You must have the ability to conceptualize, detail, and implement control systems for industrial processes and machinery that meet our customer’s requirements. This involves the development of a control system architecture, selecting the components to be used, detailing schematic diagrams and system documentation, programming controllers (PLC, DCS, RTU), programming the process visualization (HMI/SCADA), developing databases for archiving/displaying historical system data and implementing/commissioning the control system at the client’s facility.
Knowledge of controller programming languages such as Ladder, Sequential Function Chart, Structured Text, and others to achieve the desired results is required.
Also having knowledge of standard programming languages such as VBA, .NET, and SQL for the development of HMI/SCADA systems is preferred
For larger systems, experience with industrial networking used to connect control system components and instrumentation is preferred.
You will design, detail, and implement a variety of fiber, wired, and wireless systems using industrial protocols (Ethernet/IP, Profinet, Modbus, etc.)
This position oftentimes requires the following project management responsibilities: developing project execution plans, work breakdown structures and associated budgets, task prioritization and scheduling, task ordering, time tracking and reporting, financial tracking and reporting, early problem identification, conflict management/resolution, leading and supporting a team, and attending project status meetings. Also includes overseeing daily operations and activities of a project(s) up to $1M. This position is often responsible for ensuring the overall profitability of the project
The ideal candidate must have a diverse engineering skillset with the ability to work independently. Will act as technical lead on projects and guide lower-level engineers and technicians. Could also act as Project Manager on smaller projects.
