We are working with a growing engineering firm that specializes in Structural Engineering design and construction projects all over the USA, which is seeking to add experienced Senior Structural Engineers to their teams in New York City, Los Angeles, and Boston.

Your Role:

You will participate in the development and championing of the team’s strategy and plans to achieve the team’s business targets and brand goals, while supporting the overall long-term strategy, growth, and pipeline development of multi discipline engineering work for the company. You will also bring exceptional technical leadership, support, and mentoring to the wider team with a dynamic and determined commitment to project delivery and commercial performance while maintaining the highest standards of technical quality.

Develop the reputation of the firm’s structural engineering as the best in class across a range of size and project types in each region.
Develop project proposals and fee estimates for all project types, and ensure projects are delivered profitably, on schedule, and within scope and budget.
Set a strong example of client care and general consultancy and support the regional team to do the same.
Represent the firm at design team meetings, both internally and externally, providing project leadership and taking responsibility for sustained and productive client relationships across the region.
Participate in project technical/quality reviews of specifications, reports and drawings.
Manage relationships with internal and external clients, Engineers and other stakeholders.
Win new commissions and grow the team by utilizing opportunities to further work.
Represent the firm externally by engaging in local industry groups or events that align with the team’s goals.

Required Skills:

Ability to elicit cooperation from a wide variety of internal and external stakeholders including senior management, clients, and company-wide staff
Confident, proactive character, with a track record of taking the lead
Proven track record of client relationship management and project delivery
Strong interest in work-winning

Required Experience:

Master’s Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering
Professional Engineer License and/or Structural Engineer License
10+ years of significant experience leading structural and multi-disciplinary projects or teams across a variety of sectors
