We are working with an established manufacturing company in the Cleveland, Ohio area that is seeking a driven and analytical Chemical Process Engineer to join their team.

Your Role:

You will play a key role in evaluating current production processes, and implementing improvements to increase volume, efficiency, and overall equipment effectiveness, working closely with ownership.

• Analyze and improve chemical manufacturing processes related to beauty products
• Evaluate current equipment and production methods to increase efficiency and output
• Collaborate with ownership to determine process implementation strategies
• Identify opportunities to reduce waste, downtime, and production costs
• Support scaling initiatives and volume growth planning
• Develop and maintain process documentation and standard operating procedures
• Assist with troubleshooting production challenges and implementing corrective actions
• Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory standards

Required Skills:

• Strong understanding of process improvement and manufacturing principles
• Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving skills
• Ability to work closely with leadership and contribute to strategic decision-making
• Excellent communication and organizational skills

Preferred Skills:

• Experience using AspenTech MES
• Experience with Process Simulation Software such as CHEMCAD
• Experience using CMMS such as MaintWiz AI CMMS

Required Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering 
• 4+ years of chemical process engineering experience
