We are seeking an experienced Manufacturing Project Manager to join a growing company in Crystal Lake, Illinois, northeast of Chicago, that produces custom building products for its customers.

Your Role:

You will manage multiple projects for customers, from original concept through design, assembly, and start-up.

• Write quotes, estimates, and proposals.
• Prepare designs, schematics, and P&IDs using AutoCAD, SolidWorks and E-Drawings.
• Oversee the details of projects including engineering, purchasing, material control, quality, and installation.
• Ensure projects come in on time and on schedule.
• Review projects and provide updates to upper management and customers.
• Monitor feedback and data to make improvements on future projects.
• Communicate effectively between all departments as well as customers.
• Establish and sustain customer contact prior to manufacturing to ensure customer requirements will be met with proposed solutions.

Required Skills:

• Demonstrated experience in reading and interpreting mechanical blueprints.
• High level of technical proficiency.
• Ability to learn and apply knowledge of the company’s products and customer base.
• Excellent time management skills.
• Experience using Outlook and Excel.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience using AutoCAD, Solid Works and/or E-Drawings.

Required Experience:

• Associates degree or higher in Engineering.
• 5 years experience managing capital projects.
